Olá, I’m Maíra.
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, I have spent more than 15 years working with the Portuguese language as a translator, reviewer and teacher. Now based in Amsterdam, I help people speak Portuguese with curiosity and confidence.

No. Lessons are tailored to every level, from complete beginners to advanced learners.
How do I know my level?+
We will talk through your experience and goals during the free introductory session.
How are classes held?+
Classes are live and can take place online or in person in Amsterdam.
What language are lessons taught in?+
That depends on your level and preference: Portuguese, English, or a mix of both.
Are all ages accepted?+
Currently, I can accept students aged 10 years old and above. The materials and methodology are always adapted to each student's level and stage of learning.
Do I need to buy any materials?+
No. All necessary materials will be provided for you.
